Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery
At RPH, the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Department specialises in the diagnosis and treatment of facial trauma and diseases affecting the mouth, jaws, face and neck.
In conjunction with our outpatient clinics, we provide a 24-hour, 7 day a week emergency service.

- Facial Trauma
- Congenital and acquired facial deformity
- Facial, oral, neck infection
- Facial and oral lesions
- Head and neck cancer
- Salivary gland disease
- Cleft lip and palate
- Facial disproportion – orthognathic surgery
- Surgical treatment for sleep apnoea
- Temporomandibular Joint (TMJ) disorders – see referral pathway
- Dental Service – see referral pathway
